Csakan recorder in mezzo-soprano range for the performance of the romantic original repertoire of the Viennese Biedermeier era. Developed for Mollenhauer by Bernhard Mollenhauer, based on models from the workshop of Johann Ziegler (1795-1858).

As the instrument is operated with two keys for the full chromatic range of two octaves and a fourth, all music will be playable without any compromise.
The csakan appears in two different kinds of feature: The manufactured standard is equipped with a bell part. Optionally, the bell can also be replaced by a walking-stick part made from solid wood to give this recorder the look of a historical walking-stick instrument.
